Discovery NotesThis was a direct soil sample found outside of the Discovery Research Learning Center at Purdue University. Soil contained grasses and plants, somewhat close to light foot traffic on nearby cement. The ground was not sloped, and the dirt was taken from about 5 centimeters in to the ground.
Naming NotesThe name was chosen because my lab partner, Lauren Jankowski, and I are both named Lauren - hence, L "squared."
