Discovery Notes | The soil was dry with very little moisture. The temperature was seventy-eight degrees Fahrenheit. The sample was take at 11:53 A.M. The sample was taken from a depth of nine centimeters. The hole was dug about twenty feet from concrete, tweleve feet from any buildings, eighteen feet from a river birch tree, and twenty-four feet from an oak. |

Plaque Notes | The plaques were small and about 1 millimeter in diameter. The plaques were lytic and well spread out on the plates. Early on in the first round of purification, the plaques varied in size. This indicated that my soil sample contained two different phage. |
