Discovery NotesIt was dry soil that was taken at surface level to 2 inches deep. The temperature was 76 degrees Fahrenheit at the time of the day that this phage sample was collected.
Naming NotesWhen taking the electro microscopic images of my phage sample, multiple pictures showed that the phage's tails are tangled with one another. One picture, in particular, has three phages tangled up. The proteins were also very noticeable, resembling the roughly textured outside of the fruit lychee. Therefore the name.

Plaque NotesThe morphology of the plaque was medium size compared to the rest of the plaques formed from the rest of the plaques from the same environmental sample. The diameter of the plaque was approximately 0.1cm. It has a distinct and clear border. I adopted this phage from one of my classmates, whose picked plaque has a similar morphology.
