Discovery NotesAt 4:41 pm CET, we (Carter, Emily, and Megan) collected a soil sample from a wildflower patch beside the apartments located on campus at LeTourneau University. Carter removed the top foliage first, to reveal a slightly moist soil underneath. He then dug a hole about two inches deep and an inch wide with a plastic spoon, then collected over 5g to use as our first soil sample.
Naming NotesThe name of this phage is composed of the first initial of each group members name. Mace is short for Megan, Alexandra, Carter, and Emily.
