Discovery NotesThe sample was collected outside of University of Pittsburgh's Sutherland Residence Hall, in a manmade flower bed.

The sample was located in a mulch bed, surrounded on all sides by poured concrete. The only vegetation present in the flower bed were some small grass shrubs.

The weather at the time of collection (9:13pm), 75 degrees Fahrenheit and cloudy. The humidity was 87%. After collection, the soil was transported for a total of 6 minutes, eventually being stored in drawer in a room with a temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. It remained there for about 12 hours, before it was taken to the lab for experimentation.
Naming NotesIsolating phage particles from all of my samples have been a strenuous and enduring journey, therefore, being able to surpass the spot test protocol with this sample provided a good reason for me to consider it a miracle child and name it partly after my name, Mahiracle425.
