Naming Notes | Phage plaques are tiny in size and were frequently contaminated during the purification steps. One might say it has a weak institution, but regardless of its state it was successfully isolated and sequenced. It is not hard to make the connection between the phage and a certain historical figure who, despite his physical disadvantages, achieved greatness in his life. My hope for the phage is that it could also be somehow beneficial for the scientific community. |
