Discovery NotesThe phage from within the soil sample was obtained on the left side of Butterfield Hall at the intersection between E Pleasant Rd and Clark Hill Rd at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. On the hill on the left of Buttefield Hall the sample was taken 2-3 inches in the grass at the base of the large tree.

Plaque NotesMangoLassi was isolated from the soil sample and the plaques formed were all round in shape. Six of them were present and all displayed a clear color. Five of them were less than one millimeter in diameter while the largest was 2 millimeters in diameter.
