Discovery NotesThis soil was collected near the entrance of a cemetery. It was in an urban area, close to roads, and had relatively light foot traffic. It was moist soil collected at a depth of 7cm.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after the tap step maxi ford as a way to honor my time as a competitive tap dancer. It is one of my favorite things to do and I wanted to celebrate my teacher and teammates with the name because they always listened to me rant about science during rehearsals.
