Discovery NotesThis phage was found in the Hunter's Key neighbourhood in Tampa. FL. The soil that this phage was found in contained a lot of organic matter and there were live worms present.
During the collection, conditions were very humid, it was raining a lot and the ground was extremely soggy.
Naming NotesI named this phage after one of the areas in London, Mayfair. Mayfair is the epitome of bourgeois lifestyle, high-end shops and and incredible architecture. It is by far my favourite place in London as it has so much to offer to everyone.
