Discovery NotesThe soil was moist because the night before I dumped the mopping water remains into the garden. By the morning, the next evening, although it was sunny and most of the soil was dried up, some was still a little moist. I used an old cup measurer and reached about 2-3 inches of the soil before I collected about half a pound of it . The soil was very dark, some is hard (dried out) and some is a little moist. The soil also contained some wood chips and leaves on it.
Naming NotesThe name of the phage comes from a Middle Eastern country. The name Medina means city in Arabic and it's also the second holiest city in Islam, after Mecca.
