Discovery NotesFound in the flower bed in front of the main entrance of Carthage College's Tarble Hall, the sample of dry, loose, mutch-like soil containing wood chips was taken from the surface to two inches down. The area was surrounded by flowers on two sides, another side on which was a pine tree, the final side being edged by grass. The day (September 10th, 2018) and time (11:38 a.m.) of collection was sunny, slightly windy, and 20°C.
