Discovery NotesMy partner and I collected 15 microliters of soil sample on College Street Washington DC 20059 (38.921670 N, 77.018617 W) with a plastic spoon and 50 mL tube, by the roots of a tree near the Howard University Biology Building. We recorded characteristics of the soil sample also.
Naming NotesMemnon was the name of a half-human, half god deity who was also an Ethiopian king. His parents were the goddess of dawn, Eos, and his father, Titonus. Memnon means steadfast or resolute.
