Discovery Notes | I "adopted" MicroMover from kyle Smithers,a member from my mycobacterial genetics course.Since I consistently did not get any plaques on any of my plates and one of my plates was a total blow out.The soil was taken from a flower bed(2cm in depth),which was very dry and very fine. |
Naming Notes | "MicroMover" This name was inspired by my favorite hobbie, dancing. Also the plaque morphology observed showed that the phages moved across the petri dish. |
