Discovery NotesIt was about 75° F. It was raining and the soil was saturated. The soil was not too dense and was a mixture of light and red dirt. It was collected from a patch of soil near the road and only the top cm of the soil was collected by scraping up the soil with the edge of the tube.
Naming NotesMitron is a combination of Mitra and Britton which were the two professors who gave me a chance to do research in high school at the University of West Georgia. I am forever thankful for that opportunity to work with them.
