Discovery NotesThe sample collected from Florence Schneider Hall had an entirely different phenotype than another phage whose sample was collected about ten meters away.
Naming NotesOriginally called tubercuLYSIS, phagesDB rightly disapproved the name due to its use of pre-existing medical terms. Also, it's a terrible pun.
All of my friends wanted me to name the phage after my mother, the most wonderful woman on the planet, but "Jennifer" was already taken. Mom wasn't. Nailed it.
