Discovery NotesSoil was collected in a compost area at 64 degrees Fahrenheit. There was rain on the previous weekend, a compost addition, and a compost turnover prior to collection leaving moist and fresh soil conditions. Soil was collected at about 4cm depth.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after my first horse "Newmont's Miss Moneypenny" also known as "Penny". Penny (the horse) has white spots that resemble phage plaques.
