Discovery NotesThe soil was dry on top, but somewhat moist underneath where collected from. I used a small hand shovel to get about 3-4 inches into the ground. The soil there was fairly dark and kind of clay like due to the moisture from underneath. I filled about have of a zip-lock baggy. The contents of the bag also have small pieces of grass and mulch.
