Discovery NotesOn a moderately warm, central Illinois day, I ventured to White Oak Park in which the sample was collected. It was near the pond in the middle of the park and there were a lot of signs of life near the soil. The sample was very sandy, and cool from the pond water.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after the well respected android and second officer of the USS-Enterprise, Mr. Data.
