Discovery NotesThe collection site was a planter in a shady area directly outside of our lab building. The sample was collected on 09/10/24 at 10:20 am.
Naming NotesWe named it MrWiggles because it is a Siphoviridae phage and, therefore, has a lengthy tail. In the EM images, the tail often was somewhat wavy, like it was wiggling.

Plaque NotesPlaques were 4mm in diameter and were temperate. MrWiggles primarily underwent the lysogenic cycle and only slightly underwent the lytic cycle. This is illustrated by the very thin halos that surround each lysed area.
