Discovery NotesThis sample was taken from the quad at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. It was taken from a planter, so there is no foot traffic on the soil itself. The ground was not sloped and there were various grass plants in the planter. There was snow around the location as well.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after the amazing Debbie Jacobs-Sera. I collected my soil sample right before attending one of her lectures, and since she is an integral part of the SEA-PHAGES program, I decided to name my phage after her!
