Discovery NotesThis particular phage was collected from the soil in front of the Burr Gymnasium on campus. We dug 4 inches (10.16 cm) deep for the sample, thus the soil had been warm and partially moist.
Naming NotesNahDatSmall stems from the size of the plaques the phage creates. The plaques are REALLY small; just barely a diameter of 1 mm. Nah, it's really that small!
