Discovery NotesDuring isolation, the weather was overall constant with little to no rain over the past few days. It was collected during the night. Soil had no surrounding vegetation, mostly sand-like in its texture and mineral composition.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after Negativitron from LittleBigPlanet 2. Phages resemble infectious machines when infecting bacteria, hence the suffix (-tron). The name also correlates with "negating" bacteria.

Plaque NotesPlaques are consistently 0.5 or 1 mm in diameter, with small fuzzy edges, signifying a temperate phage present. Plaques are very subtle and indistinct. Due to its size, these plaques can make very intricate webbed plates.

The final titer was 2.5 × 10^9 pfu/mL.
