Discovery Notes | The phage was discovered in soil sampled 2 feet from a house with relatively large amounts of coniferous bark and leaf matter, with no ground cover or grass. It was almost mulch covered. There was a lilac bush standing 4 feet to the south, and the location was 20 feet in the downhill direction from a dead end road that only 2 people live on. The road is on the top of the hill. |
