Discovery NotesCollected soil in Denton, Texas on the UNT campus at 2pm. The temperature was 37.78 degrees Celsius and humidity was at 35%. The location collected from was the garden beds in front of the Language Building. The soil is soft and dark colored, with lots of plants and trees in it. I scraped away the top inch of dirt and proceeded to gather enough soil to fill a quarter of my plastic bag. then, I put the soil into my plastic bag.
Naming NotesI named this phage after my boyfriend's dog, Nike.
