Discovery NotesOur phage was found near the grotto by College Hall at Gonzaga University in some soil that didn’t really resemble dirt; rather it looked more like potting soil that had been sitting outside in the elements for awhile.
Naming NotesNiteNDay was chosen based on the initials of our names. Abraham’s initials are AM and Peyton’s are PM. When labeling plates, tubes, etc. we always put down AMPM which looks like ante meridiem and post meridiem which is considered “day and night”.
