Discovery Notes | This soil this phage was found in was collected on Calvin University's Commons Lawn. It was collected underneath the giant pine tree next to the sidewalk leading into the science building. The dirt in the soil sample was moist as it was gathered from an irrigated area. It also seemed to be very rich as it wasn't sandy or rocky. |
Naming Notes | This name was inspired by my dog's name, Nova, combined with my favorite number, 53. |
