Discovery Notes | Sample collected at 9:45AM on July 7th, 2017 near Innovation Hall on the George Mason University (Fairfax) Campus. Ambient temperature: 76*F. Lightly raining. The soil was dark and moist. Soil was collected 2 inches below the surface. |
Naming Notes | I named my phage Phlounder after the summer flounder - which is also known as a fluke. This summer I caught my first keeper flounder in Ocean City, Maryland. It was 20 inches and 3.5 pounds! |
