Discovery NotesThe soil was collected in the swampy woods of Durham Waterfowl Impoundment about 20 feet from a creek. There were also some fungi growing around the location. The sample was taken at average depth of 2.5cm below the ground.
Naming NotesThe name means tiny sand or small sand in Igbo language in Nigeria. We chose this name because the phage creates tiny plaques, and the phage was enriched from a soil sample.
