Discovery Notes | The soil was collected in the swampy woods of Durham Waterfowl Impoundment about 20 feet from a creek. There were also some fungi growing around the location. The sample was taken at average depth of 2.5cm below the ground. |
Naming Notes | The name means tiny sand or small sand in Igbo language in Nigeria. We chose this name because the phage creates tiny plaques, and the phage was enriched from a soil sample. |
