Discovery NotesThe original soil sample comes from the Killian Annex Building at WCU. Here, I found it to be highly conducive for discovering bacteriophage due to the soil being dry and well protected from precipitation or other weather changes not including temperature. Upon soil enrichment, the Gordonia terrae was used as the primary host.
