Discovery NotesThis phage was discovered on January 8th, 2017 on the University of Pittsburgh's main campus. The temperature that day was below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, and there was a dusting of snow covering the ground. I collected soil from an exposed area of dirt next to a sidewalk. The dirt was thin, dry, and light brown in color. I collected this soil from the very top layer of the exposed soil.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after my favorite character from The CW network's show "The 100".
