Discovery NotesCollected in my parents’ backyard, from a small patch of non-composted soil at the side of their garden.
Naming NotesFollowing its isolation, OhMyGatos was fully characterized by Jonathan Otieno, Reagan Buettner and Sofia Smith. We came up with a cat-themed pun since we weren’t sure what to name it, though I was certain I wanted “cats” to be part of the name.
