Discovery NotesOmorphoKaypo was found in the mulch of a vegetable garden on the southeast side of the LETU campus. The soil around the collection site contained mulch and bark, with many vegetable plant roots and some ants. The soil itself was moist and loamy on the surface, but contained more clay in the lower layers. The sample itself was 6-8 inches deep. The tempurature at the time of collection 21.7 ℃.
Naming Notes"OmorphoKaypo" is Greek for "Beautiful Garden". Greek is a classical scientific language. The phage itself was found in a pretty garden. "Beauty" (or "belle") is also a name that both Baker and Malinowski share.
