Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected on the Smith College campus on 9/27/17 between 10am and 12noon. Weather was partly cloudy and 72C. The soil sample was collected on the bank of the Mill River on the far side of the bridge. The extraction point was approximately 1cm deep and the soil was moist and medium in color.
Naming NotesOrabella is Italian in origin meaning "beautiful gold". However there wasn't much significance to the name besides a nice meaning.
