Discovery NotesCollected from orange tree whose soil was isolated from the rest of the grass and dirt around the tree. Fertilizer and organic material was present in the soil. The soil was damp due to being in the shade.
Naming NotesThe phage was isolated from an orange tree. I really like astronomy and was looking at star names and stumbled upon Betelguse and got the idea to name it Orangeuse.
