| Discovery Notes | Our phage was discovered near our campus Starbucks. It was a thicker-mud type of soil. We contained a little bit of grass from the portion we dug up. Luckily, the ground happened to be moist from the morning dew still and we dug approximately 3 inches into the ground to then collect our sample. |
| Naming Notes | We came up with the name Phage Oviedo, this comes from a city in Florida that one of our mutual friends is originally from. That's what drew our attention to this name, and it also isn't a name particularly cringe, etc. |
