Discovery NotesThis phage was isolated from soil shaken from a roots of a clump of grass next to a tree just south of the BYU Life Sciences Building.
Naming NotesThe name Parsicarious is derived from two Latin words: "Parvus" which means "small" and "Sicarious" which means "assassin." I called it "small assassin" because of how tiny its plaques were.
