Discovery NotesParvaVictoria was found outside of the Health/Human Services Building on the Western Kentucky University Bowling Green Campus.
ParvaVictoria had big and small plaques but these were found to be the same phage.
Naming NotesThe name comes from the Latin translation of “small victory.” It took me many samples before I was successfully able to find a phage. I was so frustrated that everyone around me had gotten one. This was the last sample before I was going to have to “adopt a phage” from someone else. Luckily, I was able to get one plaque, and it was a success.
