Discovery NotesWe found the phage near the Cedar River. We chose this location because it was near a water source, so the soil would be slightly damp. There is a lot of foot traffic at this spot on the river because there is a park near. The cross country team at Wartburg runs by there for practice at least a couple of times a week.
Naming NotesWe wanted to name it pebbles, but that was already taken. Then our professor suggested Pebbly and we really liked it, so we thought that was good since we couldn't use pebbles. There is also a lot of gravel around the location where we got the phage.
