Discovery NotesFound along a shady pathway with tree cover on UPenn's campus. Soil was aerated and dry and covered with leaves and bushes.
Naming NotesAs our phage creates lysogenic plaques that are cloudy, it appears as if the bacterium has faded away. Thus we decided on "fade", but with a "ph" instead of an "f" as we are dealing with PHages.
