Discovery NotesThe soil was found near a tree next to a walkway at Johns Hopkins University. It is located relatively between the Fresh Food Cafe and the Athletics Recreation Center. Soil was relatively moist as it had rained the previous day and was collected from 2-3 centimeters below the ground. The sample was collected on September 8, 2014 around 2:45 PM at a temperature of approximately 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
Naming Notes"Bae" is a popular term that came up this year to describe an individual/object that is theoretically "attractive". With its long tail and normal sized head, I would deem my phage to be "atttractive". Because of this, I named it Phae, by simply replacing the "b" in a more appropriate phage context.
