Discovery NotesSoil was extracted from under the bed of grass in the garden. The grass was moist, but the dirt was not. We added water to the tube to keep the soil moist.
Naming NotesThe name for the phage came from an in-depth discussion with our tablemates about whether or not the Fillet-O-Fish from McDonald's was "gas" or not. Due to our opinion that the Fillet-O-Fish was inferior to the classic Chicken Nugget, we decided on naming our phage Phish Phingers out of spite for the traditional Fillet-O-Fish.
