Discovery NotesThe soil was taken at a location with the coordinates 40.42196°N and 86.91737°W, at 1:14pm on August 28, 2024. The sample was taken near a bunch of trees and bushes, located near the greenhouse of campus. It rained earlier, so the soil and mulch was moist. This made it a very ideal sample that could potentially lead to the identification of a new phage.
Naming NotesThe phage was named after a word used to describe a very charismatic, outgoing, and charming individual. I thought this would characterize my phage well.
