Discovery Notes | During a moist morning, the soil sample containing our phage was collected from a tree right outside the door of one of the Walker Avenue Apartment Buildings. |
Naming Notes | Dominic and Clara both had different ideas for the name of the phage. Dominic wanted to name the phage "PhoenixDown", a popular item from the game series Final Fantasy. While Clara wanted to name the phage "WaluigiforSmash", an infamous character from the Super Mario game series and a joke from the absence of this character in the Super Smash Bros. game series. Rather than fighting for which name should be chosen, the both of us decided to combine the names into "Phoenix Waluigi" instead. |
