Discovery NotesPhage was found in soil that was relatively damp, especially a few inches below the surface. Thick, full of organic matter. Relatively cool and more on the chunky side.
Naming NotesWe are food lovers and in our society people like us are often termed as being a "foodie". Since this is a phage discovery, we decided to replace the 'f' in "foodie" with 'ph', hence giving the phage the name "Phoodie".
