Plaque NotesThe plaques that appear on this plate are the result of a soil sample collected in the greater Pittsburgh area. This plate is the result plaque sample that was diluted by a factor of 10^4 and spotted with 3 mL of top agar on 250 microliters of Gordonia Terrae cells. The plate was then incubated at 30o C for 48 hours. Phoxymoma produces plaques that are clear and range in size from 0.5 to 1.5mm
