| Discovery Notes | This phage's collection site is on the Saint Leo Campus. The soil was gathered from the ground surface at a temperature of roughly 81 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Underneath the dead grass, the dirt was wet, reddish, and black. |
| Naming Notes | The phage was given the name PigToria for a variety of reasons. Second, this virus is fitting since Toria, like my name Victoria, means "victory," and it was a success for me to be able to obtain a phage. The pig part was included since pigs like to roll in mud and this phage was found in moist soil that was almost like mud. |
