Discovery NotesPhage was discovered in soil underneath of a tree outside, by a bench. The soil was cool and loose with small debris such as twigs.
Naming NotesPolaris, or the North Star, is the brightest star in the Ursae Minoris constellation. Discovering my phage was metaphorically guiding me forward in my work, much like the saying that the North Star can guide you home. The number is the day I collected the sample (9/9).
