Discovery NotesThe sample was taken at 1:09 pm on 8-28-23 and processed later that same day. The weather was warm and dry. The sample consisted of dried lawn clippings, soil, and fresh-cut grass from the same one-square-foot area. it was processed using direct isolation.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after two of my great-grandparents. Polly Marcum and Jack Williams. They taught me to never give up on my dreams and are the reasons I am pursuing biology, therefore it is only right that my phage be named after them.
