Discovery NotesThe soil was moist because it was lightly raining, and it was also collected in a garden. The soil consisted of some wood chips, but after digging three inches, there were no wood chips. I was able to obtain a handful of soil without the wood chips to obtain a good sample for filtration. The soil is dark and felt like clay. It was kind of difficult obtaining a handful, and I kept having to reach a big handful to ensure that enough sample was being extracted properly. Small particles like rocks were found in the soil. There were plant branches with no leaves and the area was damp nearby the location of soil extraction, which is a good location to extract phage samples.
Naming NotesThe reason why I named my phage Pop is because it my phage is really small, and circular almost resembling a balloon. I added an "a" after because it had to be 4 letters.
