Discovery NotesIt was my backyard which doubles as our driveway but is just rocks and soil as opposed to pavement. The surrounding environment is assorted shrubs, fence material, and rocks for our driveway. The soil itself was moist yet very firm from the cold frozen ground thawing slowly. It was a bit grainy. Discovered by Adam Cohen, lab group members are Aidan Grambau and Victor Shash.
Naming NotesMy group members wanted to name the phage Princess but there was already a phage with this name so they changed it to Prince X and then since our host bacteria had a reddish pink color they changed it one last time to Prince X Peach. Phage was found in late January during the spring semester of 2025.
